Ear Symptoms
Tonsillectomy is the surgical removal of the tonsils—two small glands located at the back of the throat. It is commonly performed to treat recurrent tonsillitis, obstructive sleep apnoea, or enlarged tonsils causing breathing or swallowing difficulties. The operation is done through the mouth without any external cuts.
